The Chemical Pathology Unit had the first session of the CES in March. It was a one hour event, which was also in collaboration with Roche. Recently in October, the CPDRL organized the second part of the program, which involved the other three units i.e. Haematology and Transfusion Medicine Unit, Medical Microbiology and Anatomical Pathology. This was held as a half-day event. The main objectives are still to increase the awareness and knowledge of our customers such as clinicians, nurses and other clinical staffs regarding the tests and services offered by the lab. The schedule for Year 2016 A total of 35 staffs came for the first session in March, out of which 16 were clinical staffs. Clinical staffs include doctors and nurses. The second session was attended by a total of 51 staffs came, out of which 23 were clinical staffs.
We are seeing better turnout with every event and better interaction between the speakers and the audience, which is a good sign of a better understanding between the lab and our customers. We hope that this will translate into better service for our patients.
